How do I use a run animation for a character blueprint in matinee?

I have set up a matinee to have a moving camera which works fine. I also have set up a matinee to have a character move in a certain direction, however the character does not use the run animation, and instead just floats across the ground. Any idea how I could fix this?

I am just using the template “MyCharacter” blueprint for now, and dragged a copy into the level and used it as the matinee actor, added it to a group, and added a movement track. I tried “Add Anim Track” but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

You’ll need to add the skeletal mesh, not the blueprint inside the Matinee in order to be able to use the Anim track i believe.
