HTML5 bug with help text size

In the editor the help tip text of the text box fits the whole bar.
But once compiled and loaded in browser it is tiny!

Hey ,

In order to better assist you, could you please elaborate on what you’re doing in order to receive this HTML5 bug? Are you setting up a blueprint widget with text input overlaying buttons? Please provide detailed steps so that I can reproduce and bug this issue.

Thank you!

This is the size it should be - it is this size when playing in unreal engine.

Put down a text box and put in some “Hint Text”. It will look much smaller once viewing in chrome. #

Also when you type text it is much smaller too.

Hey ,

In your screenshot above, could I see what’s underneath ‘style’? The reason I ask is because under ‘style’ I have the type of font, including the size of the font.

Thanks!

ohhh yeah in 4.8 :

cant select a style font.

But I open it in 4.9 preview to see how it is in chrome and once in 4.9 I can change the font but when compiling it goes back to its default, it will not change.
In 4.9 there is no Appearance Font, just the Style Font which still does nothing.

Hey,

I’m currently in the updated version of 4.9.0 Preview 1. I have been able to add in a font, and change it under style. I then saved the changes I made and pressed play, the new font style appeared as intended. The new style of font is added to the UI folder as a font file by the way.

If you have any further questions, please let me know!
