Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

FBX mesh (exported from Blender) not showing in PhysX Lab

Hi everyone!

I'm using PhysX Lab to create destructible meshes. The problem is that when I try to import my FBX, PhysX Lab doesn't load it.

The mesh is still working when importing into UE4 and using UE4 built-in destruction system tho.

Is there any way to load that FBX into PhysX Lab?

Thanks in advance.

I was unable to find any documentation myself on this, however, after some testing I found that you must use fbx 2014/2015 and not the newest version. I tested this with MayaLT and confirmed it. UE4 Documentation has yet to be updated as well but the FBX import guide states to use this version as well, so to avoid issues I would use that version.

As a further side note for specific import, you can change the up direction in PhysX Labs by going to view/X UP, Y UP, or Z UP. When I initially imported it,it did not change the up direction properly.
