Make mesh scale over time

Hi I want to make it so that I can place a flower and it will grow over time. I was thinking of doing this in blueprints and also how would I be in possession of the item in the first place (as the player). This is for a garden element of my game, thinking along the lines of minecraft for the seed/place/grow cycle but for now just scaling from tiny to actual size would be enough.
