Installation stuck at "Creating shortcuts"

I’m trying to install Epic Games Launcher but each time it gets stuck on “Creating shortcuts”. I’m on Windows 10.

Thank you for the report. We are currently investigating to see if this error is OS specific.

In the meantime, try the steps in this section of the troubleshooting guide.

If nothing works, make sure to follow the instructions and post the Installer Logs here. Also include your Dxdiag (system specs).
