Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Android company and project name change build error

I changed the company and project name for my mobile game and now when I try and build to android (ETC1). I keep getting a build error. I accidentally put a space in the name the first time and corrected this and saved. now whenever I build it keeps giving me the same build error and keeps building folders with the old and new name in the src folder. I have removed the folders and they keep coming back. I am unsure on how to fix this to get the project to build again. This problem only started once I changed the names, I have done successful builds with this project in the past.

Hey Sookie,

Please close your project out and go to the project folder there, I need you to delete the following folders:

  • Intermediate

  • Config

  • Saved

Once you've done that, load your project back up and try to package it. If you run into the same issue, please upload the error logs as a .txt file and I will be more than happy to look at them further.

Thanks! :)

Hey,

After looking over your additional logs provided, it looks as though the space between Shell and Shocked is causing the issue, so are the brackets used. Please change it to com.ScottMccoombes.ShellShocked.

Don't forget to clean out clean out your Intermediate/Android/APK/src and Build/Android/src folders before packaging.

Thank you and have a nice day!
