4.8.3 Packaging for windows 32-bit gives and empty folder

I have recently upgraded to windows 10 form windows 7 then updated the engine version to 4.8.3, i am not sure where is the problem but when i package for windows 32-bit it gives me an empty folder, 64-bit works normally.

Hey ,

Thank you for reporting this issue to us today. We have tested out the packaging process for Windows 32 bit using the Third Person template. The project successfully packaged in Windows 32-bit and was placed in the folder. Are you able to reproduce this on all projects? Have you tried verifying your version of the engine?

Please provide more information so that we can further assist you, thanks!

I tried it on all projects and it didn’t work, even after restarting the computer several times but it worked when I changed the build setting and tried to build, even when I reset the build setting to the one that had the problem it still works and packages properly, sorry for my English, I am not a native.

Could you please try to package a regular Unreal Engine template on for Windows 32 bit and tell me what happens? Could you also send possibly some output as a .txt file and perhaps some screenshots of the folder locations and the folders themselves?

Thank you!

it worked normally this time, too, with the ThirdPersonTemplate.

Hey,

It looks like it has worked this time. Is this the specific template that you were not able to package previously? Would you mind trying 3 different templates out of blueprint and c++, so 6 in total and let me know which ones did not actually work?

Thank you!

Hey,

It’s been quite a while since I last heard from you and for that reason, I must mark this question as resolved. However, if you have any further questions or concerns, please reply back and I will be more than happy to assist you further.

Thank you and have a nice day!
