Mac OS X Epic Games Launcher crashes after startup after last update Aug 6th, 2015

On launch this morning the games launcher updated and restarted. It crashes now just after it opens. I’m on Mac OS X Yosemite.

I enabled -debuglogging and this is what i have in the console:

Hi AddictArts,

I’m assuming if you enabled Debug Logging, then you most likely have seen this troubleshooting page. Could you verify that you’ve tried all of the suggestions that apply in this section?

If nothing works, could you post the rest of your Debug Log? Just zip it and post it here.

Yes I tried those options, attached is my complete logs.

I have a second Mac with Yosemite and it updated and now it crashes once the main window appears, exactly the same. Any updates?

I uploaded my logs, but didn’t make it a reply. They are uploaded. Thanks for the help.

PS: This is happening on the two Mac’s I have that updated recently.

This looks to be fallout of a bug that occurred some time ago. It looks as though in your local vault data cache you have a folder for “UE_4.3”. This should not be there, and I believe removing it will fix your problem.

You can find this here:
\Users\Shared\UnrealEngine\Launcher\VaultCache\UE_4.3

i dont have a launcher folder under UnrealEngine on my MAC.
