What are the code dependencies and where do i get them?

Ok so i downloaded the 4.0.2 code for the engine and it said you need dependencies to build it but im confused on exactly where these are.

Did you also download the required 1 of 2 and required 2 of 2 files and unzip them? They were on the same site.
