Eye adaptation doesn't work in UE4 above 4.4,

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering why I can’t make Eye adaptation working in higher versions of UE4 than 4.4. In 4.4 everything is working without any problem but in 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8 doesn’t. AE is switched on in settings, everything is set properly but it looks like it’s locked somewhere.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards
Jon

Hello Jonsnow,

The Eye Adaptation is accessed through the main viewport under show > Post Processing > Eye adaptation.

This enables Eye adaptation.

In order to adjust the settings for Eye Adaptation you will need a post processing volume inside of your scene.

In the details panel of the post processing volume there is a drop down menu for Post Process Settings.

Under that menu go to Auto exposure and you will be able to adjust the Min Brightness and Max Brightness.

Hopefully this will help,

Thanks,

Hello ,

thanks for reply but this is not a problem. It looks like this is a problem only on my machine. I’m going to reinstall UE4 and hope it will be ok.

Regards
Jon

Hello Jonsnow,

Did you have any luck with the reinstall?
