Application Error 0xc000001d fix?

Hey, I just recently got Unreal Engine 4 and was really excited to start using it, however when I finished downloading and installing it I try to launch the engine from the launcher and it gives me the error “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d)” I have already tried multiple solutions to the issue that were posted before with no solution.

Solutions I have tried:

As well as trying to re-downloading http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 (and for some reason it tells me that vcredist_arm.exe is not a valid Win32 application)

Im running Windows 7 64-bit with 8 Gigs of RAM, an Intel i5 3.20GHz and an Nvidia GTX 760

This is the log for the Reading Dependency Walker fix.

And my DxDiag link text

Hello,

Could you please also post your system’s DxDiag? Do you have Windows 7 Service Pack 1 installed? Any additional information may help with our investigation.

Thank you!

Posted my DxDiag, and i’m not quite sure how to check which Windows SP I have. I would not mind re-downloading SP 1 but from what I checked its a good 5 or so gigs and I don’t have the fastest internet so that would be best for me to download overnight.

According to the DxDiag.txt file you provided, you do not have Service Pack 1 installed. You should be able to get/install SP1 using Windows Update.

You will need to install service pack 1 to run UE4 properly. It may be a good idea to do the overnight download in this case. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Cheers!
