APEX destruction does not take damage

hello,

I just made a wall in the PhysX-Lab and exported it out to UE4,
imported it inside UE4 and did everything i’ve done when i would make a destructible mesh inside UE4
(set the async scene to off
simulate physics
set the collision type to physics actor)
but nothing happens, I’m using this in the FPS template blueprint, the ball projectile just bounces off of the wall and nothing happens, if i run into it, the wall (it’s just a small little flat box) falls over but it’s not breaking.
Am I missing something?

If so, please try to explain it as detailed as possible because I don’t really feel comfortable with UE4 yet.

This has been happening for awhile and Im still waiting for a fix. It doesnt happen with instant hit type damage I think it was, if you import your asset into shooter game the machine gun will break it. Maybe you could use that as a work around until we get an official fix.

yeah, i did add it to shooter game, but it looks totally off, it just explodes as if the chunks have no collision,gravity,rotation, anything… and every chunk flies away instantly, there’s no way to “chip away” pieces one by one (pretty much as in the PhysX-Lab playground)…now i feel sad :frowning:

Is it ok now or you still need help with this ? I can do pretty much everything I want currently. I guess I missed the time where things were broken. That’s why I’m asking.
