Epic Games Launcher - Stuck on "Please Wait Screen"

I have just installed Epic Games launcher earlier today and when I tried logging in, “Please wait” always shows up, but nothing happens. “Unable to connect to the servers” also shows up upon opening the program, too. I have put “-http=wininet” and “-OpenGL” in the shortcut but I still cannot find a solution. I have also restarted many times.
It appears that it only works when I go offline, but I cannot install anything.

I am using Windows 7 64-bit SP1.

Hi daBroHood,

Thank you for trying the standard fixes before posting. We are currently investigating a string of ‘Please Wait’ issues.

Could you follow the steps here to generate your Debug Logs? Post them here, along with your Dxdiag (system specs).

Hello TJ,
I have same problem in past.
It have been fixed it by runing the launcher with “Run as administrator” options.
Hope this help you with your investigation.

I have the same issue, “Run as Administrator” doesn’t worked for me.
“-http=wininet” and “-OpenGL” doesn’t worked as well.

Try opening port 5222 in your firewall…
