4.9 Decals on mobile BUG?
I have found a strange issue:If I toggle receive decals off in a staticmesh placed in level,it really cannot receive decals,however,if I turn it off in a blueprint which has a staticmesh,it doesn't work on mobile,the decal still spawn on it.Thanks(I'm testing this on ios9 iphone 6plus and ios8 iphone 5s)
Basic unlit decals. Supports three blend modes:
Stain = Modulate Emissive = Additive Translucent = Translucent. Decals with other blend modes will not be rendered on mobile devices.
Only skeletal meshes support switching off "Receive Decals" flag.
I found this little bit of information in the feature request that was submitted for Mobile Decal support.
Thank you for pointing out this bit of information as I was unaware we had supported it yet. It can be sometimes a bit much to keep up with all of the additions/fixes we make with each preview release.
