[BUG REPORT][REPRODUCIBLE] Reimporting vertex color data

I noticed when re-importing a mesh containing vertex color data some/all of the data will be lost. Especially when you change the vertex color data later on (I use Maya), and then re-import it again.

If I import the mesh with a different name all the vertex colors are correct.

I encountered the same problem (4.12.2 and 4.12.5). Basically, all off the vertex per face colors get lost on re-import…but a fresh import will have them. Very annoying bug.

I need to confirm akira3d’s bug also with version 4.17.1. When re-importing a mesh with solid vertex per face colors the colors become messed up. Fresh import with another name and replacing the static mesh in the actor details is a workaround.
