Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Yeah, by default at least for me on version 4.10.4.

Is the tutorial out of date?

Really the tutorial would be up to date if you just took the part about the dialog box out. By default adding in new level that does an Empty Level for me. It probably varies though. If you don't get an empty level just do what turtaninja said.

It does say Unreal 4.9 at the top of the page, but can't imagine Unreal 4.10.4 or any other older version of 4 would be that different.

I had a similar issue when creating a new level I was able to figure out that nothing was showing up because there was no light source to illuminate any geometry in the level
