Direct connect to session using IP of server

Hi there,

We have the following problem:

We use the onlinesubsystem null and it’s session system to connect clients and the server in the LAN.
Additionally we want to be able to connect to the server via IP.
Using the console command “open” followed by the IP we are able to connect, but the session system goes nuts.
It doesn’t recognize the connected player and therefore e.g. the number of online players is not correct.
Also we don’t get any information whether the IP is even existing/reachable, so when not the games crashes/doesn’t respond.

Is there a way to create a session on the clients side and connect to the server via IP without finding it actually?
