Widget Component Bugged?

I’ve been working a bit with interfaces as of lately, and I’m starting to get the fairly comfortable with all different casting needed to be done, and overall use of UMG*(snapping with specified offsets would be lovely)*.

However, I just now tried to use the Widget component for an actor, only just finding out about this precious little thing. And I simply can not get it to work. While I can get my widget to render in the world, I sort of can’t properly interact with it.

It seems like interacting with it depends on where the pivot is located, and I can’t navigate vertically - only horizontally. For example, if I make a vertical box with buttons inside it, the only way for me to navigate these buttons is to move my mouse left and right close to where the pivot point is.

Am I using it wrong, or is this simply due to the fact that this is still an experimental thing and not properly implemented yet?

I’m on 4.9 Preview 3.

Hello,

I was able to reproduce this issue on our end. I have written up a report ( UE-20071) and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I will provide updates with any pertinent information as it becomes available. Thank you for your time and information.

Make it a great day

Great! Thanks for the info
