HugeProblem with Texture Render, Huge Delay Time, How Can i Fix it?

The Textures or the Lods (im not so sure, sorry, im a level designer) are taking too much time to load (i know the Stream Textures thing i just can not set all my textures as Never Stream it does a huge performace lost) like its taking too much time to load some objects on the face of the player, including some very close objects near of it like weapons, the lightmass baked shadows as in the same situations, and its really annoying, (i never packed a project before so i dont know if this stills happen on the final product).

  • How can i fix that?

  • Could it be the Lods system?

  • Is it a editor Bug?

It sounds like you are in the process of optimizing your texture streaming and texture pool sizes. In order to do this I would take a look at our documentation. It goes into great detail about how ‘Texture Streaming’ works within the engine, and how to tweak and optimize for your own project.
