compile widget help.

Hi Everyone,

I have recently been making a game main menu for my game. There are 5 widgets used in this process (Main menu, Single player,Multiplayer,Options and exit).

All these widgets are made and ready.

The problem is that if i compile, say the multiplayer widget and the single player widget the main menu widget will need compiling. So when i compile the main menu widget the other widgets need compiling.

This is a endless loop and is causing my buttons on the menu to not work.

Have i done something wrong or is it a bug.

If i have done it wrong can it put it write?

sorry rudy but for some reason it is working now. sorry for wasting time. one last question is how would i have different shaped buttons in a widget?

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed set of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?
  4. Could you go through your blueprints and clean up any circular dependencies?
  5. If you upgrade a COPY of your project to 4.8, does this issue still occur?

I am happy to hear that you have resolved your original issue. As for creating buttons that are different shapes, I would suggest applying an image with an alpha so that it appears to be a different shape. I hope that this information helps.
