Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can provide documentation offline? ZIP help/manual content folders for download? I ( and many others ) want to learn offline. I believe you want people to have easy access to learning. :) - Only API is off,

Hey Edil,

Sorry for the delay in response. You have access to the documentation offline since you downloaded the engine, as noted in this post:

Now we don't have it, the Dropbox download is no longer in existence. Just make a link available for signed in users to download a HTML or CHM. It's easier to control the versions that way. Another novel idea for future reference is to add an automatic download of it when downloading the engine. If a user downloads the engine, sometime we like to use it on our powerful laptops during car rides that don't offer complimentary WiFi and peanut snacks. Viewing the documentation for what ever reason during such ventures would be a very nice accommodation to beginners and experts alike. I mean come on we already have the API.chm for use offline.
