Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Mac OS X crash on startup

Tried the Epic Games Launcher on 2 different iMac, both exhibit the same behavior. Unreal Tournament banner comes up, black window opens. Black window stays unchanged on screen for a few seconds, then the app crashes to a crash report.

Mac OSX 10.10.5 (machine 1) and 10.10.4 (machine 2) 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 32 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2Gb

Any ideas?

Hi forgeflow,

Try the suggestions here and see if anything works for you.

If it doesn't work, follow the steps here to generate your Debug Logs. Then post them here.

I see there's an update today, so, fingers crossed. ;)

Hi Forgeflow

If the update did not fix this please could you upload all the logs files in the log folder.

Also the logs are getting cut off so could you try to reproduce again, except this time, add "-forcelogflush" in addition to "-debuglogging" and post those logs here? So your commandline should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win64\EpicGamesLauncher.exe" -debuglogging -forcelogflush.
