Splines locations created via C++ are not tweakable

When creating spline locations via C++ we can not edit the position that we calculated. This seems bad for tool creation for procedural content. IF is we create a city network or a cave network from splines and we need to tweak the location of a point to adjust the location we lose this functionality. Is there a way to revert this or an option that makes it non–only?

Please note I saw this quote on the forums:
“AllowSplineEditingPerInstance is deprecated as it was confusing some users - now the default is that all splines are editable, unless the component is in a Blueprint whose User Construction Script sets the spline up itself. In this case, the spline is visualized in a ’ only’ mode.”

This seems very limiting without an option to add back the functionality.

Hey Shoiko-

There is already a report about this issue (UE-7476) and I have added your information to it to increase the community interest. Additionally, could you post the link to where you this on the forums so that I can use it for reference?

Cheers
