Can Animation and Rigging Toolkit create a skeletal mesh?

If I already have a custom mesh, can Epic’s Anim and Rigging tool to create a skeleton for it? Although I am programmer not an animator. Our animator couldn’t figure out a way to use it.

Yep, you can definitely use a custom mesh with the Anim and Rigging tool. After skeleton creation and placement, you can select the newly created ART joints and bind your custom mesh to them using the standard Maya workflow. You’ll know you’re at this point in the process when a window pops up asking if you want to automatically weight the proxy mesh and the skin weighting tools populate the ART UI.
