Using custom shaders and compute shaders

Is there any comprehensive, human-readable, up-to-date guide on how to use custom shaders or compute shaders in UE4? So far all the attempts at making this I’ve seen look like half-functionnal workarounds.

I will also need compute shader soon so I’m bumping this thread.

Unity already has it, it is that huge that I find myself more often in the situation where I think I will have to switch :(.
