Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.

get Mask border (edge)

Hi,

I would like to get the edge of a texture, my texture is a Mask generated by the output of the kinect.

only the player silhouette appear on the texture in gray scale (from black to white), and I would like to get the edge of this mask to make and outline "effect"

Hello Talus,

So from what you have described you are trying to get an outline effect similar to a cell shader.

If you would please link a screenshot of your material and confirm that this is what you are trying to do.

I use ComputeFilterWidth to get what I want
