Ue4 crash after import simply object

Hello.
I made a simply field of grain in blender and export to fbx.
when i try import this to ue, program crashed, even on new project.
What could be the problem?

Hello Shinek,

From what you described and the screenshots you created a static mesh in blender and then imported it as a .fbx into UE4. When you tried to import that mesh UE4 crashed.

I downloaded your .fbx and tried to import it into UE4. UE4 got to around 75% and then froze. I then imported your .fbx into maya and tried to open it. I was able to open it but there are an extreme amount of polygons associated with it. Also, each tree or cat tail was it’s own object. I then tried to combine the objects in hopes that I could make it one object and import it. Again it took such a long time to try and combine I stopped the process.

As this is foliage what I would recommend is just to make one of those trees and add it to the foliage rush inside of UE4. There are limitations for any program on how much information can be compressed and then filed to be imported into another program.

Thank you for reporting this but as I cannot reproduce the crash only a freeze I recommend the above mentioned steps to achieve what you are trying to do.
