General questions on the Rift + UE4

Hi everyone

When I hit Alt+enter I go into rift mode but i have some questions about it and how it interacts with the “Oculus configuration Utility”.

  1. After Alt+enter is hit, does it take the IPD and eye information from the utility and use it on the simulation? Some of my friends have reported blurry images even after calibrating the rift for themselves. If not, how can I make it read that information and use it properly?

  2. When I start the game, the player posses a character which is correctly positioned towards a table. The problem comes when I enter the rift mode, it is always turned around 45* to the right. Is there anyway to make it align with the position the character is in? I tried resetting HMD positioning before the character is possessed but its not working.

  3. I remember hearing that there is a way to read the info on the utility config of the rift, maybe i can somehow get the height of the person to influence the height of the camera on the character? How could I make that variable dependent on the rift?
