Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hello TheOldScalemate,

From what you describe and your screenshots that you linked what looks to be happening is some of the textures that you have on your gun are fading out whenever you zoom in.

I do know that through unwrapping, your UV map is by default calculated on a 0 to 1 scale. What could be happening is that some of your lines are too thin to be picked up by that calculation. What can happen is that when UE4 does it's pass and tries to pick up a line that is small enough to fall between where it calculates, then the line is not drawn.

I would recommend making those thin white lines a little thicker and see if that fixes the issue. If not, please message me again and I will investigate further.

Thank you,

Logan
