Apex Cloth from Maya turns into a stretched cone downwards when put in game?

The simulation works perfect in Maya, but once exported ( following the instructions in Basic Unreal Engine 4 Apex Cloth - YouTube ) I get this problem:

I am also having a similar problem. any help on this would be apprediated

My apologies - I found a solution. I was using Maya 2014 and simply downgrading to Maya 2012 fixed the problem, exported the same exact way and it worked relatively flawlessly in UE4.

…I’m using 2015 and am in the same situation. I DID manage to get it work fine before though. Anyone know why this happens?
