Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey there! Are there any books that I can use to learn UE4, or any books that would generally help me with UE4?

It's not much of a book, more a journal, but you can check my shared googledoc out: http://goo.gl/jEHT0u

No books.

In general books on Game Engines are difficult because by the time they are published things have changed and a lot of the examples won't work.

There are a lot of sources of information available. Between the documentation, the wiki, the forums, and all the videos on YouTube there is quite a bit of info.

If you really need a book, you could print out all the documentation: UE4 Documentation
