Post Processing Settings Not Working

Hi, I’m trying to change depth of field options in my scene. However, all of the options seem to be doing absolutely nothing.

I read in another forum that this was an issue with 4.7 and 4.8 - having to turn on mobile HDR - I checked and I have this enabled? I’m really stuck how do I make post processing work in 4.9?

Thanks
El

I turned mobile HDR off - saved - on saved and still nothing. When messing with any of the depth of field settings none of them seem to be effecting the scene?

You have a post process volume thats got ‘Unbound’ checked off right (as in turned on with a checkmark in the box)

Secondly. You need a bokeh shape if im not mistaken the engine has a stock one.

Do ohter things like say grain or vignette work?

Hope this helps
Don’t forget to accept an answer that best clears your question up or answers it so when the community finds your question in the future via search/google they know exactly what you did to fix it/get it going.

Sorry, so have unbound checked or not checked? And what do you mean by bokeh shape? Everything seems to be working apart from depth of field - these settings have no effect.

Checking the “unbound” gets the affect across the whole level, which isn’t what its for. The volume is mainly used for affect only one area, hence the volume.

I had this issues and reason was it was set to low quality. When I switched it to at least medium DOF showed up:D

When using Bokeh DOF you must enable the Scale parameter and set it to a non-zero value.

Thank you man, this really helps up, i spend almost whole day before find your advice and it’s worked! THANK YOU!!!

You welcome man. Ahhhhh, cant believe a year passed. Ironically, thats only the beginning of “spending-whole-day-finding-solutions” not only for UE4 but all other accompanying programs 3ds max, zbrush etc, so I changed proffesion, I dont have nerve for this ■■■■■■■■.
Hope you are more patient than me. Cheers

I hope so too  Cheers =)
