How do I retarget successfully default UE4 skeleton to a custom one?
We are in desperate mode. We are trying to retarget UE4 default skeleton so we can use the "sword and shield" animations on our custom character. The problem is that when we assign the animations the custom character gets all messed up. The bones may not have the same names but they are in the same place. Head, Neck, Clavicle, Upper Left arm and et cetera. It should work. We tried matching the A pose the default character is when retargeting but still nothing. What are we doing wrong?
