Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Why does unreal crash when I open my project?

So I was building lights in a scene and before it finished I have tried to "export all" from a matinee to get an FBX of my camera in unreal for animation purposes and the editor crashed. When I open the editor again it loads the Minimal_Default.umap from the Starter Content then crashes again here the log.

I've tried everything Eric Ketchum said in this post to no avail: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/279246/crash-opening-project-unknown-exception-code-00000-1.html

Just found the error. I exported the FBX into the project for some reason this was causing the issue. I only needed to delete it.
