Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hello,

You can convert a BSP into a static mesh in the Details window. It is under Brush Settings' advanced options. Then from the content browser you can export the mesh created as an FBX. I hope this helps!

Cheers!

It works but there is a bug, the static mesh will have it's Light Map Resolution set to 0 and has to be changed manually otherwise the texture says "INVALID LIGHTMAP SETTINGS".

Actually it seems the Default for Light Map Resolution is set to 0 globally for the editor, as seen here http://puu.sh/89RjE.png

The lightmap issue is a known bug with converting BSPs to static meshes. We are working on a solution for that. Did this help you with getting the meshes you wanted?
