Strange ghosting with water decal

Hi, I’ve been experimenting with the water decals from the Reflections Subway Demo. I really love the effect, but there’s an issue when my character walks in front of it. It seems to create a strange ghosting effect that trails the characters movement. Has anyone else had this issue or know what may be causing this?

I see this happening on water in my scene so I don’t think it is decal specific. Foreground objects getting masked over the reflections? It seems to redraw the reflections as you stand still and as you move they are blurred out a bit. I’m guessing it is a “feature” of the screen space reflections? But that’s a wild guess as I don’t understand how all the reflections fit together in the engine yet.
