How do make a turned based game like Mario Party
Hello all, I'm interested in trying to make a turn based like Mario Party game , manipulating the world and a 3rd person camera system seems straight forward enough, But I'm curious about how I should approach thinking about an utterly basic turn based combat system. Does anyone have any opinions that could point me down the right path?
I just don't know what kinda videos i can look up for blueprints need as much help I can get. I bought the advance turn tool kit, but it didn't really help because it isn't the movement I want. If you look at Mario party 10 some paths are unique as my map . My map has multiple paths and I don't know if i should make my own grid, make a spline, or make a actor that once you have rolled then you go to that actor blueprint.

You can always make points that the characters run toward - in this way, players would select which path they want to take, and their characters would move to the next point, instead of trying to create grids or splines.
