Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Getting Started - New to Unreal

Brand new to unreal trying to get started, I have 4.9 installed. 4.9 starts up fine, but when I pick a blueprint and go to start my project I get the message "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."

Attached is my Dxdiag. If anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. link text

Hi BearsAirz,

As the Nvidia GT 555M card in your Lenovo Ideapad Y570 0862 performs well below our Minimum Spec GPU (GTX 470), this kind of behavior would be expected. The editor uses up a lot more video memory than running most games.
