4.9.1 after updating i cant open my map

Updated to 4.9.1 when i opened my unreal, now i cant load my map.
im getting this error:

cant revert back to 4.9.0 either, it is a school project that was due tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue: what am i to do?

I’ve assigned a member of our support staff to look into this crash for you, and they’ll post here if they need any additional information.

For now, I would recommend moving your Intermediate and Saved folders out of your project’s folder and saving them somewhere else (in case we need to look at them later), then reopening project. At first glance, this appears to be a rendering issue and I wonder if getting rid of ddc would help. Let us know if that helps. Thanks!

If 's suggestions do not work for you, can you give me a breakdown of what is in your map that will not load? Since it is a load on open crash, there must be something existing in map on load that is causing issue and not something in gameplay, so if you could focus on those items in your summary. If you have multiple maps in your project you can copy map that loads by default on project open out of project directory and then your project will open to a blank map.

I have same problem, but my map is a newly created third person template (after 4.9.1 update).

I only added one extra actor directly to map, rest I did are some actor and classes which get spawned by character. And I modded character blueprint.

This is event and construct script of this added actor, but I don’t think that this broke engine.
I hope I could help, … somehow.

So two screenshots above are only changes made to third person template or are there other changes not shown? If there are other changes, could you share this project with us for debugging and reproduction purposes?
