How can I make Apex Cloth collide with the world?

Hello,

I have been messing with Apex Cloth and got it to work fine, it reacts to the wind actor. However, it does not collide with anything in the environment. I have it set so that Collide with Environment is set to true, its also set to block all.

I have tried a myriad of settings however, it still does not collide with anything.

did u try to set the desired mesh to be collide with Apex Cloth to movable ?!!!
if you didn’t try this and confirm if that works for you or not

Yes the desired mesh has been set to movable and its still the same.

Does anyone else know?

Hmmm, where did I see it… There is a checkbox somewhere in the defaults tab in Character blueprint which says “react cloth to environment” or “collide cloth with environment” or something similar. I’m not really sure how exactly it said, and if it’s actually there. Also I cannot confirm if it works right now, but try to search there first. I will look into that if I find time and let you know. I’m going to holiday trip tomorrow and I will be back 25th of August, but I couldn’t ignore your post since I’ve seen this option some around there. I know it’s not exactly an answer to your question, but maybe you will find it first, so let me know if you do.

Oh, You actually set it to true, lol. Sorry I misread your post.
Well I’m trying this now, and can confirm it doesn’t work indeed…
So, yes I’m applying to your question too, since I’m going to make a girl character in Yukata, and I need it to react with environment.

This guy said he’s got it working. But, even adding a capsule, I haven’t achieved it. And there’s no documentation on the subject.

I’ve got it working (not perfectly, but better than nothing). Here’s my solution.
