What is the best way to save Vehicle customization?

Hi Everyone,
i am working on a game where there is vehicle customization.
currently whenever there is a customization i add it to a TMap for easier reference in the actor (customization like adding a bullbar static mesh or something like that),then i save those variables.and next time when i open the game i read from these variables and i re apply the customization.Is this the best way to go about it?
