I don’t know why but some of the materials (especially the floor materials) from the Particle effects cave demo aren’t showing in Unreal Engine 4.9. They work in the older versions but I really need it in 4.9

Thank you for your report. I have alerted our Samples team about this issue with UE-21585. In the meantime, to correct the issue for you, Open the M_ Cave_Ground_Mud Material and add and connect the vector 3 like the image shows below in the tessellation setup:
