Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Packaged Game Crashes Video Driver

I have packaged my game and it is crashing on one of our testers machines with the following. alt text

Specs of the machine are as follows:

 OS: Windows 10 64bit
 CPU: Intel Core i7-4710HQ @ 2.50GHz
 RAM: 8192 MB
 DirectX Version: DirectX 11
 Display: Intel HD Graphics 4600

So we updated the video driver via https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25308/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-4th-Gen-Windows-10-64bit

That didn't fix the problem, so I turned down the graphics settings in the game to low and repackaged. alt text

However, we are still getting the crash.

It runs at a solid 62 fps on my old ATI Radeon HD 3870.

I know that integrated graphics aren't recommended. But can it really not even load a single map and one character game? Essentially all we have is a fps template with a map, that's it.

We ran ShooterGame (which is a lot more complicated than our game) successfully on this same machine before upgrading to windows 10.

Product Version: UE 4.9

Hello erebel55,

Could you attempt to package and run the ShooterGame project using your new Windows 10 setup? I'd like to see whether the issue is project-specific, or if it is something relating to your updated driver or OS. I look forward to hearing your results.

Have a great day,

Sean Flint
