C++ hot reload not activating on compile

When working in UE4.9 i noticed that, when i compile my c++ code, hot reload does not work. Without hesitation i googled it but i had no luck fixing the problem. I also reinstalled the engine with no luck. I then launched a previous version of UE (UE 4.8) and hot reload worked perfectly. Hot reload is a very important feature that prevents me from having to restart the engine every time i compile. If i am missing something please let me know.

Was 's suggestion able to help you? Are you compiling through Visual Studio or are you using the compile button inside the editor? Please explain what you mean by the hot reload not working.
