Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Office Holiday

Mipmap levels cause artifacting

I'm getting corrupted mip leve!2 for a simple 512x512 eyeball PNG. Is there a way to disable MIP mapping for textures?

Thank you for that test asset. Could you please post you system's DxDiag in a zip? This may be related to the graphics card, so I want to look into it.

how do I do that? IT's a Mac Pro 2013 with FirePro D700 GPU in windows 8.1.

I am not sure if there would be anything different on a Mac running windows 8.1 as we do not test that.

Hi,

You can disable texture mipmaps by going into the Texture editor and then use the Mip Gen Settings dropdown. You can set it here to NoMipMaps.

Does not work. There's till at least 1 level of mipmapping.
