Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to make a Blueprint play an animation?

So I have a basic static mesh with 2 animation. They both play and work fine, however I have the object in a blueprint and wondering instead of just placing the static mesh and set an animation to play, is there a way I can set the animation to play for the blueprint version of the item?

I tried Make SingleAnimationPlayData and not sure I am doing this right, any advice? Thanks in advance, and best wishes!

Considering this was 2015, it may be a node that is long gone and replaced with something else with a different name, of which I have no idea what it would be either.

If you can't see that I am guessing you are working with a static mesh blueprint. They aren't made for animating. Make it a pawn instead perhaps.
