I created this material in Blender to use on rocks and cliffs etc:
As you can see it is not a “flat” texture and when I try to import the assets I created in Blender with this applied into UE4 it doesn’t transfer over. I have no idea how I can import this, any help?
I see… Problem is I have no idea how to do that, the material application is a bit complex. Do you have any idea about how Blender node mapping translates to UE4, is it the same logic?
Modeling programs and game engines have different rendering systems so you cant import materials. You need to import your textures and recreate the material in Unreal’s material editor.
