How to "extract" pitch when it is mixed up between other axes?

i’m making a blueprint-based aim-offset

that’s what i try to achieve:

that’s what i get instead, as the pitch axis (yaw actually, but serves as pitch) belongs to spine_01, which i rotate.

how can i rotate that spine_01 on the pitch axis of the whole body instead it’s own(bad one)?

Can I see your blueprints? I’m not exactly sure what you are doing here.

It looks like you aren’t setting up your aim offset as an actual aim offset… if that makes any since :slight_smile:

I just figured out what you are doing wrong. So for your offsets, you are trying to modify the current animation right? Try doing it like this:

If all you need is the pitch, just make an aim offset 1d.

Your way isn’t exactly wrong, it just isn’t the most convenient way to do this.
