Hey all - I installed EGL and UE4 last year - Since then that harddrive has died, and i bought a new one to replace it.
Recently ive gathered an artist and got some planning done for a mobile app im hoping to create in UE4 - Issue when i downloaded the installer and tried to install EpicGamesLauncher
I get the following screen

Note : Theres no directory selected. Nor is there a browse button.
Clicking install yields this error. Which i cannot find any information on anywhere on UEWiki and AnswerHub

As i assume this is a residual files from the previous install error. I have done the following.
Control Panel > Add remove programs > Ensured theres nothing related to EpicGames or UE4 installed.
ran RegScanner and searched for all entries containing “UE4” or “Epic games launcher” I found many entries and have removed all of them.
Scanned my C: and other drives for anything related to UE4 and EpicGamesLauncher - Deleted everything
Searched all temp directories. Removed everything.
Used 2 different uninstall cleaners to remove other left behind files.
Now that everything is clean - Still same problem. Ive posted in the community forums and searched around everywhere but to no avail. Im coming to my wits end here!
Can someone please please help me?
