Problem with installing prerequisites [RESOLVED]

Hi Everyone. i’m looking for have a dedicated serveur and clone on my own computer (Windows 8), a clone of the unreal Engine project, like said in the tutorial, i launch setup.bat and after downloading, displaying:
“Registering git Hook…
installing prerequisites…”

And that all. i have same diplay since 30 minutes. close it and relaunch it but it display again the same thing.

Someone to Help me please?

Just to clarify you downloaded the .zip from GitHub and the Setup.bat file is not responsive? Which engine branch did you download (4.9, 4.10, release, etc)? Also, could you post the DXDiag for your machine as well?

i put my github name account in my epic games account profil. then i made a clone from the UnrealEngine icone.

Since you’ve already associated your Epic Games and GitHub accounts, can you follow this link and download the zip file. When the download completes you should be able to extract the files to the location you want to install the engine at and then run Setup.bat and GenerateProjectFiles.bat.

after download your link, extract and launch setup.bat, it make this error at 99% :

my Own path was: C:\Users\MyName\Downloads\UnrealEngine-release\UnrealEngine-release

EDIT: i redownload again but with specify the 4.9 branch (i am on 4.9). setup.bat worked and GenerateProjectFiles.bat too. Thank you very much!! :slight_smile:
